A ‘Depressing’ Shoot With Michael Cunningham…
Hey everybody!
On July 19th and 20th, Josh and I were out on location in Main Street Broken Arrow and then a local residence to film timelapse sequences for a school project by our friend Michael Cunningham of Miracle Pictures (who we’ve helped with two previous shoots, “Instant Message” and “The Hunted”).
Josh was the main focus of the piece, as a man suffering from depression and pondering the realities of life. Later, he’s playing a video-game with his best friend, totally oblivious to life (I play the best friend ^_^).
This was the first time Josh, Michael or I had done time-lapse (on his Blackmagic Production Camera 4K, with Rokinon Cine Lenses) and it went swimmingly. We also ended up using our Edelkrone SliderPlus, with the Action Module to get some motion-controlled timelapse shots.
Michael directed the short, while I helped location scout, come up with the premise, write the script and acted as crew. Josh, aside from acting in it, also helped out as a grip.
The short, that you can view online HERE, got a perfect grade from his teacher. So go us on helping Michael get a perfect score :)
As always, thanks for reading and see you in two weeks!
