Your Best Enemy or Your Worst Friend – The Sunny and Show Cher. :-S

Confused about the title? It’ll get explained down below ;)

This past Saturday, the 28th, was a big day for Two Titans Media. A project we’ve been helping to develop from around November of last year started shooting. We’ve been teasing it for awhile (in fact, we hinted at it last blog) but now we can fully talk about it!

It’s based off of the life of our friend/actor Richard (Rick) W. Luttrell and the Rudyard Kipling poem ‘IF’. We helped develop the script, crafting the look/feel of the piece, shot-list and more. So to say that we’re heavily involved in it is an understatement!

It also marks the first time lighting was handled by a completely different individual other than us. We got to work with the absolutely brilliant Sunrise Tippeconnie, who showed us a bunch of new tricks of how to light an amazing looking scene.

We took a day of prep to get set up at the location (which was Rick’s Parents house, which they graciously allowed us to film in) and the next day went as smoothly as can be.

What made the day, though, was Rick flubbing certain lines. As he’s describing where he first heard the Kipling poem, instead of saying, “The Sunny and Cher Show”, he said “The Sunny and Show Cher”. We tried to yell cut, but we weren’t able to get the words out due to us laughing so hard (much to Rick’s chagrin).

Likewise, Rick talks about “your best friends or worst enemies”, but stated ‘best enemy or worst friend’.

So much great blooper material!

We’re now going to start editing, to see what B-Roll may have to be shot for the project. But we have to say, we’re thinking this is gonna look pretty dang good!

And as a quick little aside, we also went out to do a photo-shoot with our acting friend Sean Frost, We can’t wait to show you what those look like as well ;)

Here’s one of the images. He looks so happy. :)

And that does it for this blog! See you in two weeks!
